McLane Middleton, a leading New England-based law firm, is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our Manchester, New Hampshire or Woburn, Massachusetts office. This position reports directly to the chair of the Corporate Department.
You will work closely with attorneys across a range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, corporate governance, and business transactions while managing your own workload with a high degree of independence. You will also be expected to meet an annual billable hour goal, which will be established upon hire.
Position Requirements:
Minimum of an Associate Degree (Bachelor's degree preferred)
NALA or NFPA Certification required
Minimum of five years’ experience in entity formation, business transactions, and corporate governance
Ability to meet an established annual billable hour goal
Ability to delegate and supervise client files
Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to client satisfaction
Exceptional organizational and file management skills
Must be detail oriented and demonstrate excellent proofreading skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction/supervision
Ability to handle confidential client information in a professional and trustworthy manner
Must be energetic, willing to work hard, a self-starter, and possess a team player mentality
Demonstrates professionalism, good judgment, and the ability to manage in high-pressure situations
Must have strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook) as well as experience with electronic file management software
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed

McLane Middleton provides the following salary range for this position, $70,000 – $110,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to individual performance, geographic location, experience, education, and other qualifications consistent with applicable law. This role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation. Because incentive amounts cannot be calculated in advance, the base salary range listed above represents McLane Middleton’s good faith estimate of the annual base salary range reasonably expected for this position.
